Abstract

Operating and maintenance economizer to support the work of boiler in MT. JAYNE 1 Economiser is a heat transfer device in the form of a tubular which isused to heat boiler feed water before entering the steam drum. The author explains some problem about the operation and maintenance of economizer in MT. JAYNE 1. The problems is how to operate economizer, how to care, and how to fix. In order to maintain the performance of the economizers, it is necessary to do maintenance and chack. So important role in supporting the economizers on boiler performance, it is necessary to chack and maintenance in order to stem fixed maximum boiler performance.treatment includes removal of outer pipes form dust and charcoal dust that is scattered due to the exhaust gas boiler.Following the regular maintenance, it will be detected nothing whatever be the result of the treadment, the cause of the damage, and the solution of economizers damage. From these result we expected semilar damage does not happen again because it has found a solution. It is also expected boiler performance also remained stable, due to regular maintenance routine.
