Abstract

THE ROLE OF SAFETY EQUIPMENT ON BOARD By: AKBAR MUHTADIN 125020018 According to statistics that 85 percent of accident are caused by human action were wrong or unsave human action there are orther reasons as for the safety regulations that must be adhered to either our company or as a service provider or of the workers were handled by the company. The research will discuss about the tools of the safety equipment on board the form: accidents adversely affect not only the crew but also for the company, crew who feel the direct result of work accidents happened, surely it would be a negative effect on the crew and family. Every job must be a readiness to lower the risk of accidents. Supervision periodically by examining the crash safety tool. Management is an important element in efforts to address the accident. The results of the analysis prove that the accident occurred due to negligence on the vessel crew disobedience crew using safety equipment during work. Concern the company’s needed by providing tools with full safety equipment and appropriate. If things it has done very minimal chances of an accident happening and the role of the safety equipment will look really help the performance of crew on board.
