Abstract

Intercooler is a separate device from the turbo. Its function is to cool the compressed air produced by the turbo, because the compressed air will certainly experience a rise in temperature. The air must be cooled due to the higher air temperature, the oxygen molecules will be increasingly tenuous, nothing to do with the efficiency of combustion. Given the importance of its role inter cooler then need special attention so that the ship was able to sail as appropriate one is to understand the constraints or symptoms that exist in the intercooler .. Therefore periodic maintenance in the operation must take precedence. One supporting the smooth operation of the inter cooler is cleanliness. Cleanliness here includes two things: cleanliness and hygiene bulkhead engine room bulkhead inter cooler.
