Abstract
Discussions during the writing of this Essay is to explain about the fresh water generator, the general sense of the fresh water generator is a machine to convert sea water into fresh water. The main function of the fresh water generator is to meet the needs of fresh water a day - the day such as: cooking, washing, bathing. The treatment is done in fresh water generator generally includes: cleaning the evaporator of the crust - the crust, checking for leaks in the pipe evaporator 6 months, check the ejector pipe 6 months, clean the strainer. The working principle of the fresh water generator is to convert sea water into fresh water by way of the process of the distiller, or by heating the water until it reaches a boiling point in space vacuum, and the steam generated from the heating process will be cooled again in space vacuum so that the steam changed again back into a liquid and produce fresh water. The effect of treatment regularly fresh water generator suitable working hours and with the correct procedure according to the contents of the manual book is expected to gain greater length of life of the fresh water generator, and the production of fresh water on board will be fulfilled.
