Abstract
Refrigerator is a tool used to move heat from inside the room outdoors so that the room temperature is lower than the ambient temperature. Then the cooling machine produces cold temperature / temperature, according to the concept of conservation of energy, heat can not be destroyed but can be moved. So this cooling machine is a machine that plays a very important role on board, especially on the fishing boat as a ship to keep the fish to keep it fresh. Maintain how for the refrigerator to keep working optimally. What interference causes the Refrigerator to not work properly. To know the treatment on the refrigerator to keep working optimally. To know the interference - Refrigerator does not work well, for education. The research was conducted by observation, literature and interviews to officers of port authority, engineer and company / ship owner. Full attention is required on maitainerace and handling of problems in the cooling machine. In the maintenance of refrigeration (Refrigerator) must be really thorough and routinely checked on installation. Found interference cooler disturbance that resulted in the performance of the cooling machine is not working properly. The cooling machine must be carried out regularly and periodically, in order to keep the engine cooling performance stable.
