Abstract
Nowadays sience and technology are develop rapidly, hence the increase in many economic sectors affected to meet the needs of company. To expedite the operation of a ship needs to be treated, one of treatment in prominent machine is maintenance in cooling system. The cooling system to stabilize the temperature of main propulsion engine to prevent from high temperature as a result of combustion in cylinder and friction The result of indirect cooling system is will be used for fresh water cooling , where the fresh water cooled by sea water in heat exchanger or condenser. The water is circulated by high water pump to water jacket. Hence, the material damage can be reduce on cooling system components as a result of corrosion on the indirect cooling system is less than direct cooling system. The benefits of this system are ease to maintain the temperature and the water can be used for fresh water maker machine.
