Abstract

Intercooler is media using sea water cooling system is open, which is where the sea water entered through a sea chest and circulating cooling will then return to the sea through over board. Intercooler is used to cool the air rinse that will be entered into the machine to obtain huge profits from its output. Intercooler on the ship serves as a tool that cools the air rinse that will be used as an additional engine power. The purpose of this study was to examine the system of perawaatan intercooler to the main engine on the boat. The working principle of this intercooler to cool the air that is to be used for main engine combustion which is inhaled by Turbo Charger for ease of Internal Combustion Engine in diesel engines.
