Abstract

The main parts of the dynamo generator are divided into two main parts: the stationary (stator) and moving parts (rotor). Stationary part (stator) includes: stator core, stator windings, stator grooves, home stator, and a ring of alternating current. While the moving parts (rotor) include: slip ring, rotor coil (field coil), the rotor shaft, and the AC generator excitation system. AC Generator works based on the basic principle of electromagnetic induction. Alternating voltage to be generated by the rotation of the magnetic field inside the coil anchor stator. In this case the field coils located in the same section as the rotor of the generator. The value of the voltage generated depends on: The number of windings in the coils, the magnetic field strength in which the stronger the field then the greater voltage will be induced, and the rotational speed of the generator itself. In this paper, the author discusses how the operation of the AC generator, AC generator maintenance and repair AC Generator. The treatments include the AC generator equipment maintenance of security equipment at the main switch board, care of the motor generator, and generator maintenance overall.
