Abstract
PT. Jatarim Binau Lines Semarang is a company that run in containers and liquid cargo delivery service. Fast information technology is needed in order to make the service fast and accurate according to the procedure. This study aims to know the procedure that involve in clearance in and clearance out of a ship at port Tanjung Emas Semarang. This study uses observations, interview, and documentation methods. Observations methods the writer did was directly observe in Nusantara quay port of Tanjung Emas Semarang. Interview methods is to giving question to husbandary agent or operasional staff PT.Jatarim Binau Lines Cabang Semarang. And the last, documentation methods was search and collect on book, note, etc. The result of this study is the proccess of clearance in and clearance out of MT. Asta Chaisun is satisfying because is based on the procedure. And also to know about the instance, documents, as well as cost on clearance in and out activity MT.Asta Chaisun.
