Abstract
Every country have the region consist of island arround by sea and river. Ship make up medium transportation dominant so that sea and river hold the important thing for economicaly a nation in developing country. Exsistence ship of course it’s not ever undone from accident risk ship. A port of risk management, the accident ship have to place apart in solve case thing. Agrounding ship is out the position to normal position consist of ship a potential to occur danger for human safety whelty and around ship area. Agrounding is one af accident ship when reputed one half eyes so will happen dangerous, firstly if happen to channel cruise narrow. Such as experience writer ever do during practice in ship. Several time the ship ever happen agrounding in narrow channel berau river. The characteristic of berau channel have shallow typical and narrow. So when happen agrounding so will close the line channel cruise. That matter have the impact very negative to economical berau city. Many factor from out to motivote agrounding a ship. It’s factor from inside and factor from outside. The factor from inside is draught, error of gyro compass, map channel nothing. The factor from outside is current, wind, tide table, squats, cushion effect, suction effect. As good as the goverement related do the revitalisation to narrow channel berau river and the cruise company always attention to navigation properness on board, in the other hand in the expected to every officer on board should have skill and competence to face the danger situation on board.
