Abstract
In connection with the increasing number of incoming flow of goods in the port area of Indonesia then in this case. PT Krakatau Bandar Samudera as stevedoring company designated to handle the property of Krakatau posco . Stevedoring companies have a duty and responsibility to provide services ranging from ship unloading until the ship completed the demolition . PT . Krakatau Bandar Samudera cooperate with Krakatau Posco to carry out the demolition Cooking Coal , Cooking Coal is the fuel for steel making . In process of loading / unloading of goods takes force people to do the job , the person in charge as stevedor , foreman , crane operator , tower operators , equipment operators and laborers. On the implementation of the demolition should also be concerned about the condition of cargo , cargo security and the security of the ship and the safety of workers around the port . The conclusion of the study series in demolition procedures Cooking Coal is a purely mechanical activity , namely the lift on / lift off , haulage and stevedoring , so that the mechanical and non- mechanical tools is a major factor / absolute for handling Cooking Coal .
