Abstract
The main discussion on this thesis is explain about discharging and loading process of container on MV.Uni Ahead by PT.Evergreen Shipping Agency Indonesia in Semarang PT.Evergreen Shipping Agency Indonesia Semarang is one of indonesian shipping agency which has branch in semarang the place of office in Bina Artha Building third floor at Pemuda Street no.142 Semarang , Central Java . PT.Evergreen Shipping Agency Indonesia has a part as carrier for exporter and importer in export import process,Discharging and loading process on vessel MV.Uni Ahead the number of voyage 0129-461 W , the time of arrival the vessel at march 17th 2016 at 21:12 and the vessel ready to make the discharging and loading process at 22:00 and about discharged 90 boxes (119 teus) 50 boxes is empty container , 29 boxes is 40’ and 11 boxes of 20’ about loading process is 133 boxes (256 teus) 123 boxes of 40’ and 10 boxes of 20’. At the discharging process be found in bay 01,06,07,09,10,11, and bay 34 in bay 01,06,10, and 34 the placed of container in on deck and bay 07,11 the placed in under deck. At the loading process be found in bay 06,07,13,14,15,18,19,22 and bay 23 , bay 06,07,14,18,22 in on deck and bay 13,15,23 in under deck . On vessel MV.Uni Ahead the time of berthing 9:16 hours, working time 7:00 hours and break time 0:00 hours , waiting time 1:28 hours rate work and crane 31:85 ( 2 cranes 3 & 4 ). About the vessel trip surabaya – semarang – jakarta – panjang – singapore – tanjung pelepas. Keywords : Vessel,stevedoring,container
