Abstract

Technological advances in communications and transportation have brought enormous benefits in the relations between nations, especially in the field of international trade. One of these trade relations is the opening of markets for countries that have commodities compared with other countries. Import-export activities based on a condition by condition that no country is completely self-sufficient for each other need each other and complement each other. Every country has different characteristics, good natural resources, climate, geography, demography, economic structure and social structure. In this case the company PT. Multiline Shipping Company is a company engaged in international shipping, which operates container ships, from where PT. Multiline Shipping Company opened its branch office in North Jakarta act as a shipping company that entered the ports of Tanjung Priok to serve the needs of administration in the port of loading or unloading. Container is an object that is used as a means of transportation of goods is permanent, strong, can be used repeatedly, is specifically designed to be easily transported safely various modes of transport, and is equipped with a lifting jack at the corners.
