Abstract

PT. Kharisma Indah Lestari Semarang is a company that run in shipping agency service. Fast information technology is needed in order to make the service fastand accurate according to the procedure. This study aims to know the procedure that involve in clearance in and clearance out of a ship at port Tanjung Emas Semarang. This study uses observations, interview, and documentation methods. Observations methodsthe writer did was directly observe in TPKS quay port of Tanjung Emas Semarang. Interview methods is to giving question to husbandary agent or operasional staff PT. Kharisma Indah Lestari Semarang. And the last, documentation methods was search and collect on book, note, etc. The result of this study is the proccess of clearance in and clearance out of KM. Rangkiang Tigo is satisfying because is based on the procedure for their management of existing ships. And also to know the instance, documents, tasks of the agency as well as the loading process related activities on clearance in and out KM. Rangkiang Tigo.
