Abstract
Dzulkharnain Syarif Abdullah. 135110086. (KTI 2016). Proses Pengurusan Ekspor Furniture PT. Lukie Works oleh Freight Forwarding PT. Orient Express Container Semarang. The Background this study is the important of the role freight forwarder company in the export process, In this case the freight forwarder company act as a connecting between the parties concerned in the export and import. Statement of the problem are contained in this research are 1) How to process activities freight forwarding in export, 2)What is the documents arising in Freight forwarding company, 3) who are the participant in freight forwarding activities in export. This purpose in this research are 1) Knowing how the process of Freight Forwarding company activity, 2) To knowing what are the document arising in Freight Forwarding company activities, 3) To knowing who are the participant in this activities. This type is qualitative research using data source are also secondary premiere where researches conducte direct observation of the object under investigation in this case is OEC as Freight forwarder company who carry out the maintenance of export from PT. Lukie works, and in the secondary data researcher get a lot of informations not only from direct sources but also through a book that contains as theory export amd also the relevant documents in this activities. In the collection of the data in this study using four methods, they are observations method, interview, documents, and study literature. Based on result of research concluded that in export Freight Forwarding activities has active roles ranging from delivery of goods to the Freight Forwarding company until goods arrive in the destination country. Besides the documents required in export activities is also complex from the beginning to the end of the export process. The participant involved in the export process, further demonstrated the role and functions from the company in world exports and imports globaly
