Abstract
The main discussion on this paperexplains about foreign crew handling process in MV. Lay Vessel 108 by PT. Bahari Eka Nusantara Batam. Foreign crew who work in MV. Lay Vessel 108 must have license to enter Indonesian territorial, live permission and live extension in Indonesia. All the licenses are handled by PT. Bahari Eka Nusantara as shipping line agent. This paper is made out to know the process of foreign crew’s passport documentshandling from the arrival, clearance in, live permittion extension, till the clearance out process and leave Indonesian territorial. In this study, author directly handles the immigration process for foreign crew who work in MV. Lay Vessel 108, to directly see the steps of crew’s immigration handling in PT. Bahari Eka Nusantara. Observation method is supported by literature from many books and journal, and the documentation of the process. In due to handle the foreign crew in PT. Bahari Eka Nusantara on MV. Lay Vessel 108, there are several obstacle like invalid passport and visa. It becames the responsibility of PT. Bahari Eka Nusantara to handle this immigration process and pay the fines if there is an uncomplete immigration’s requirements in MV. Lay Vessel 108 in order to make the crew able to work.
