Abstract
In this paper aims to find everything related to shipping agency activities primarily in document handling tug barge ship movements and problems and solutions faced and agencies involved in ship services. This paper includes studies by observation techniques will be undertaken by the author based on the practice of the Army in the company PT. Maritim Barito Perkasa in which there are the problems faced by the company PT.Maritim Barito Perkasa along with the discussion. Based on this paper showed that the role of agency PT. Maritim Barito Perkasa is important to take care of the documents permitting the movement of the boats and the needs of shipd that are in the working area of Banjarmasin port in order to support the smooth sailing of the ship.
