Abstract
Progress and development of attractions in Riau Islands attached of tourist to visit by the port of Batam. It was existence to increased quality of services as optimally as possible to the users of services shipping. In connection with the increasing number of foreign citizens who come to the habor area of Kepulauan Riau, the shipping company opens new agent at any port in operation to handle vessels of non-owned or belonging. In this case the agent PT. Indo Perdana Lintas Jagad act as the agent who takes care of the arrival and departure of ships (clearance in and clearance out) boats in the harbor, take care of the needs of the ship while in port and calculate the percentage of arrivals passangger and goods during the harbor.
