Abstract
This scientific paper is entitled “TOBACCO EXPORT HANDLING PROCEDURE PT. PERKEBUNAN NUSANTARA X”. The object of this paper are Perkebunan Nusantara X Company as the exporter, Camtek Tobacco as the importer, and the product being observed in this paper is Besuki Na-Oogst (BesNO). In writing this paper, the writer uses some methods. First, observation method where the writer does the field study in PTPN X to observe the export activity of tobacco. The second is literature review method where the writer seeks the written references about export activity. The last method is collecting data where the writer collects exporting documents from PTPN X. The writer’s aim is to find out some information such as marketing process of tobacco in PTPN X, preparation of tobacco product before exporting in PTPN X, and the last is the process in producing tobacco exporting documents in PTPN X. As the result, the writer finds that both companies use Sales Contract for sale and purchase agreement, Perkebunan Nusantara X produces Besuki Na-Oogst and Vorstenlanden Na-Oogst tobacco, the company examines the quality and fumigates the tobacco before exporting them, documents about export activity in PTPN X are: Invoice, Weight List, Shipping Advice, Stuffing List, Escort Letter of Export Product, Proposal of Tobacco Examination, Stuffing Report, Internal Security Filling, and the last finding is the sending system used is Free On Board (FOB).
