Abstract
Crewing services by PT.Peteka work Gapura Jakarta, aims to provide crew members with appropriate qualifications and quality, in accordance with his position considering the tonnage of the ship, vessel size and machining. To recruit sailors who have competence in accordance with the manning standards that exist in the company, then it does selection process is so tight. Namely the selection of the administration, the selection of computer-based competencies, selection interviews, technical interviews, interview of personality (personality), and the checking and validation of documents conducted by the harbormaster directly, so it is not possible fraud in the process of hiring the crew of the ship. Based on this reality, the obtained results are fulfillment of sailors (captain and other crew members) who have competence in accordance with the manning standards that exist in the company so that work according to position and expertise.
