Abstract
PT. Swadaya Wira Maritim is Shipping Company that stir in the field of Shipping Agency. Shipping Company that shipping agency services should be able to carry out their duties properly. In here agent has act as a party representing the Shipowner in preparing everything for the activities during the ship in port can be implemented as planned. Began process of berthing ships, to obtain travel documents clearance in and clearance out to ship finished unloading and leaving the port. Agents also have to prepare the facility before the ship arrives and ensure loading and unloading activities can be run well so that it can provide completely against the interest of the vessel during the in port. After the completion of all activities of the services that have been given to the ship, Agents makes calculations on the entire cost of the service according to mutual agreement called Disbursement fee which then submitted to owner or operator of the vessel. An outline of the cost previously been agreed upon by both parties, between the principal and the agent. The entire cost plus the cost of the agency (Agency Fee) should have been paid by the owner or operator of the ship before leaving port.
