Abstract
Dumai city were in a strait between the islands of Sumatra and the island Rupat this makes Dumai city as a strategic area in handling the export and import process for the favorable geographic shape for boats - boats anchored in carrying out its work. PT. Bintang Samudra Utama is one of the agency in Dumai which handles maintenance of the loading and unloading of goods such as Palm Oil Product (POP), Palm Oil Product (POP) is the product of palm oil are produced in the area of Sumatra and is in the interest by Consigne from abroad because their role is practical and rewarding. Therefore PT. Bintang Samudra Utama become one of the agency that handles the process of loading Unloading Palm Oil Products to be exported from Dumai port of arrival of the vessel to vessel loading process is completed and until the ship departed left the port of Dumai Keywords: The process of loading, unloading, arrival and departure of ships
