Abstract
With the advancement of technology is so rapid and stady, development of specialization is increasing rapidly. This case arises because not all of the resources produced by a country is equal to that produced by other countries, so that a country may not meet its own needs, sure not rule out the transfer of commodities from one country to another and make an international trading. This requires movement of goods by using the conveyance by land, sea or air. As well as our country which is a maritime country, comprising the region surrounded by ocean waters are very spacious. To support the activities of trade eith other countries, the need for a carrier, in this case the shipping line that transports goods export and import, so that trade between countries to be effective and efficient. In this case EVERGREEN LINE is a shipping company which is engaged in international voyages which operate vessels belonging or to non owned transporting various kinds of commodities in the form of container. So evergreen opened a branch office in semarang to become agents who act as service provider transport of goods to/from abroad through the port Tanjung Emas Semarang.
