Abstract
The background of this research is how the company's role in the settlement process EMKL export documents, since in this case the company EMKL act as a liaison between the parties involved in export activities. The problems found in the study include documents - what documents are used in the handling of export, agencies - agencies anything related to the completion of the export documents, how the settlement process Export documents, costs - What costs incurred in exporting and constraints - constraints any encountered in the process of completion of the export documents. The research is a qualitative source of primary data and secondary also where researchers conducted direct observation of the object under investigation in this. Based on the results of the study concluded that the export activity, EMKL has an active role starting from selecting suitable container with goods until the container brought into the harbor and handed over to the cruise until the goods arrive at the state location.behind the documents required in export activities are also complex began from the beginning to the end of the export process.
