Abstract
PT. Bahtera adhiguna gresik branched is a shipping company engaged in ship agency and unload cargo of Fertilizer. PT. Bahtera Adhiguna Gresik branch responsible for providing operational services .Oprasional system and service process start from the ship berthing, the process of unloading cargo from the ship to leaves port. Information technology is needed for ship activities and the goods can be serve quickly, accurately and easily. PT. Bahtera Adhiguna Gresik branch also has some procedures that has been implements for servicing ships and goods in order to made a good service and minimize some errors, both in the creation of documents and their services. The system service procedures in PT. Bahtera Adhiguna Gresik branch start when the ship arrive in destination port . and submitted clearance in to KSOP and PT. pelindo for the determine berth place and permit for scouting service to PT.Pelindo. The last service is submitted clearance out to KSOP for ship departure. On arrival and departure of the ship is not all activities performed running smoothly. There are obstacles or barriers experienced by PT. Bahtera Adhiguna. Among the constraints - constraints include: schedule arrival and departure of ships change - change. At the time of airport arrival or departure of the ship PT. Bahtera Adhiguna as a shipping agent in terms of making the planning of the ship berthing didermaga often not in accordance with a predetermined schedule, for example, extreme weather affected the schedule of arrival of the vessel was delayed due to bad weather, in addition to the queue teradi on petrochemicals port of Gresik.
