Abstract
Main discussion on this paper is about Glydant import process (cosmetic raw) in PT. Pataya Raya Surabaya. As Expedition company, it has several export and import services in logistic, warehouse, freight forwarding, and transportation in sea, land, and air way. One of the cases is import documents handling of cosmetic raw owned by PT. Mitrapak Eramandiri, which author rises in this paper. In handling this import documents, need an understanding on the theory. Thus, there are some literatures that the aouthor uses, like the meaning of import, importer, import documents, and many parties or institution related with import. On this study along the author’s PRADA, the author uses some methods. Observation, literatures, and documentation are used in this study. In this import handling, PT. Mitrapak Eramandiri is a customer of PT. Pataya Raya Surabaya. 80 drums of cosmetic raw’s are imported from China. Import documents will be done if the related parties can follow the rule based on agreement. Keywords: Import, Glydant 2000’s documents, EMKL/PPJK
