Abstract
Loading and unloading activities are activities that support a smooth flow of goods somewhere stacking container depot PT Tanjung Tembaga. Loading and unloading process has several activities including: stevedoring, stuffing inside / outside, stripping inside / outside, receiving and delivery. In the loading and unloading, stevedoring companies sued its role to facilitate the flow of goods. Smooth flow of goods can be achieved if the implementation is supported by skilled human resources and the use of loading and unloading equipment are adequate. In the stuffing outdoor activities dilakuakan to EMKL /service user PT. Setiawan Utama Mitra this time, the amount of charge on the flour that the fit is 22.5 tons per container using stuffing handling at the warehouse with the help of labor. PT. Setiawan Utama Mitra usually send goods in some areas are like Bitung, Belawan, Kupang, Maumere, makasar, Sampit and samarinda. Not only flour are in stuffing and sent in somewhere place by PT. Setiawan Utama Mitra meliankan such as snacks, soft drinks, cigarettes, rice, sugar, cardboard, ceramic and noodles. In the implementation of activities stuffing in Depo Tajung Tembaga should be accompanied by both sides in the field such as EMKL / shipper and the clerk, to the clerk must choose the container suitable to be used or is still good for stuffing in a warehouse activities to be undertaken by PT.
