Abstract
This study has the objective to observe the activities of the agency in PT.Putra Bukit Jayaraya Tanjung Balai Karimun in the airport arrival and departure of ships. Research was conducted on PT.Putra Bukit Jayaraya Tanjung Balai Karimun. Methods of data collection was conducted through interviews, observation, literature review and documentation methods. Agent is a shipping company designated to represent the activities of such dipelabuhan.Dengan airport handling agents in terms of arrival and departure of ships, as long as the ship leaned on and when the ship leaves port agent role is very important to improve the smooth inflow of ships and goods. Therefore, PT.Putra Bukit Jayaraya Tanjung Balai Karimun always attempted to increase efforts in the field of shipping and airport users with the best possible service and always support the best quality companies with quality shows professionalism and capabilities of the company.
