Abstract
Indonesia is one country that is developing trade both the Interior and Foreign Affairs, shipping has an important role because most have activities Export and Import use the services of shipping companies that operate the ships. Ships have several advantages that have a carrying capacity of more to reach a relatively more efficient. In addition it matters related to the presence of and process Stevedoring in port. this is caused because power has a port to unload and load from one place to another. The purpose of this study is to analyze who wrote involved in discharging and how the process goes. The method used is the juridical method of research is the study of objects by adhering to existing laws. The results of this study can be concluded that the process of loading and discharging at terminal for its own account in accordance stadar safety VICO INDONESIA East Kalimantan (MuaraBadak) is the process in which the making or carrying out loading and discharging must enforce the rules that have been set by VICO INDONESIA East Kalimantan (MuaraBadak) and there are some that must be considered is how the activities of loading and discharging document groove and how where to apply the rules in implementing loading and discharging with safety standards.
