Abstract
Around the 16th century in the archipelago has been known position of harbormaster who are on duty every port visited the ship docked and supervise trading activities around the port area, warehousing, and markets. The harbormaster is also tasked to assess how much the price of merchandise and also determine how much the cost of tax applied to a commodity. The harbormaster is the confidence of the king in accepting import duties and export duties on goods traded in the port. Master Harbour office is Technical Implementation Unit within the Ministry of Transportation, which is under and responsible to the Ministry of Transportation through the Director General of Marine transportation in harbors perform safety functions and order shipping as well as surveillance and law enforcement in the field of shipping. Master Harbour has the highest authority in coordinating the activities of customs, immigration and institutional activitie in harbour. Master harbour etymologically consists of the master harbour. Master harbour means the authorities and airport means ports and rivers that are used as an anchor point, where coasters on the bridge punggah and bridges unloading piers and breakwater-spout and places coasters another commonly used by ships, as well as marine areas are intended as places coasters ships because why not be included in the boundary common used.
