Abstract

PT. Bintang Timur Baru Bakti Branch Semarang is a shipping company engaged in ship agency - dismantling ships . PT. Bintang Timur Baru Bakti Branch Semarang duty to provide services and cargo ships, ship service systems operational processes at the start of the groove ship berthing, loading and unloading process of the activities of the vessel and up to the ship leaves port. This method uses the model data collection interviews, observation, documents and literature studies and using data sources are primary data and secondary data so that the results of the study refers to the theories and research in the field. Results written works at PT. Bintang Timur Baru Bakti Branch Semarang is mengamnalisis ships and cargo service process begins at the time the ship arrived at the port and then carry out the proposed clearance in the harbor master for the determination of the docked ship and services . Finally services namely clearance ins and outs clearance submitted to the harbormaster for the departure of the ship. Ship services such as the maintenance of documents, the maintenance costs while the ship was in port as well as the obstacles that occur include berthing process is not timely, the lack of coordination in the process of dismantling.
