Abstract
In connection with the increasing flow of goods into the port area is very large, the shipping company opened a new agency at any port in operation to handle vessels of non-owned or owned. In this case PT. Pelayaran Bahetra Adhiguna Branch Tanjung Pinang as the agent who takes care of the arrival and departure of ships (clearance in and clearance out) bots in the harbor, take care of the needs of the vessel while in port and calculate the disbursement acount for the harbour. Given the agency services has a very latge role in shipping activities, the authors are interested to know the activities of the agency in the management of clearance in and clearance out in PT.
