Abstract
PT.Atosim Lampung Pelayaran is an agent engaged in roro ship passenger service, this company is a company that has a collaboration with City Line which has a large fleet of ships. At the end of the day, many people want to know how the ship arrived and departed. any document document that is managed by the agent. This work is made so that readers can understand how the clearance in and out process and handling of arriving and arriving vessels or obstacles encountered. In this paper the author uses the observation method used to explore how the clearance can occur until the ship departs using this method so that the problems that have been there can be resolved, in this method the writer goes directly to the field to make observations and feel while doing land practice (PRADA ). The author obtains the result that the clearance process is indeed very complicated but the growing age created a system called inaportnet which where several clearance processes can be carried out in the system and in the use of this system must be carried out carefully.This aims to minimize errors in the process.
