Abstract

PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia III (Persero) Tanjung Emas Branch Semarang is one of the State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) that operates in port terminal operator services. PT. PELINDO III Branch Tanjung Emas Semarang provides service facilities ship and goods. There is already a dock facility called the ocean dock. In the dock is a place to dock so that the ship can perform the loading process. Loading of goods is a transfer from land transportation mode to sea transportation mode. From the experience of Midship Practice in PT. PELINDO III (Persero) Branch Tanjung Emas Semarang see and pay attention to the procedure of loading the liquid bulk at the ocean pier 02. To be able to load the liquid bulk from the ship there are stages to be done. As from the submission of PPKB to PPSA then after the boat docking done oprasional examination and after the completion of all new service carried bulk liquid from the warehouse buildup to the hatch of the ship through the pipes. At the time of loading in the ocean dock 02 using tools such as forklifts, pipes, flexible pipe. The most common constraints when loading and unloading such as waiting for pipe, and equipment damage. So in the process of loading the bulk liquid need to note checking tools and facilities load carefully so that when the loading procedure does not occur obstacles that inhibit.
