Abstract
Port Clearance was held in purpose to organize the port’s activities properly. Without a Port Clearance, from here you can imagine activities in the dock become irregular and will give the chain fatal impact in various sectors, especially sectors of the economy. From the authors argued above and to find out how such a procedure, the authors are interested to implement in practice Inland Port Office and the Board of Batam to write Essay titled "Procedures in the Seaport Stevedoring Agency of Batam". The author uses qualitative research and descriptive. In collecting the data necessary to support this paper, the authors use the method of observation, questionnaires, interviews, documentation, and literature.
