Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to obtain a more in-depth and understanding of the reviews PT. Bintang Samudra Utama recruitment plans crew through crewing departments ranging from the role of PT. Bintang Samudra Utama Shipping Owner Top as performing the operation of ships, procedures or stages through which, the parties concerned, the necessary documents, the main culprit in the execution of crew recruitment and how to overcome them. For the data used are primary data and secondary data, primary data and interviews collected directly with the PT. Bintang Samudra Utama Primary, while secondary data obtained from books and other sources. Data collection method used is observation, which is to see directly the activities conducted by PT. Bintang Samudra Utama. It can be concluded that PT. Bintang Samudra Utama Shipping Owner Top as acting as the executor of the operation of the vessel which helped to send the charge to facilitate the ship owner in implementing productivity. Crew recruitment procedure, namely: department crew crewing looking for candidates who will be placed on meeting the crew. PT. Bintang Samudra Utama making PKL (Sea Employment Agreement), before the crew boarded the ship will be given documents, each document has the function of each to be shown off to the concerned parties if there are checks at the time of sailing ships.
