Abstract
The main discussion on this thesis is explain about discharging and loading process of container on MV.Kota Rancak by PT.Jangkar Pacific in Semarang. PT.Jangkar Pacific Semarang is one of indonesian shipping agency which has branch in semarang the place of office in Mataram Plaza Complex E at Letnan Jendral MT.Haryono Street no.12-12-A Semarang , Central Java . PT.Jangkar Pacific Semarang has a part as carrier for exporter and importer in export import process,Discharging and loading process on vessel MV.Kota Rancak the number of voyage 9001 W , the time of arrival the vessel at february 7th 2017 at 23:50 and the vessel ready to make the discharging and loading process at 3:07 and about discharged 433 boxes (706 teus) 94 boxes is empty container , 231 boxes is 40’ 107 boxes of 20’ and 1 container OH about loading process is 257 boxes (378 teus) 111 boxes of 40’ 56 boxes of 20’ and 100 empty container. In this study, the authors participated in handling the process of unloading containers on MV. Kota Rancak by PT. Anchors Pacific Semarang. Method of observation by the author is supported by literature from a variety of sources of books and documentation of the process of loading the containers. On vessel MV.Uni Ahead the time of berthing at 2:30 , working time 10:00 hours and break time 0:00 hours , waiting time 30 minutes rate work and crane ( 2 cranes 3 & 4 ).
