Abstract
This research is based on the facts in the field that illegal parking is very disturbing the order of road traffic, parking is a very complex problem that triggered various influencing factors such as the behavior of illegal parking attendants, lack of parking space, the lack of awareness of vehicle owners parked vehicles in place so often the problem Traffic happens like a traffic jam caused by the wild. This study aims to analyze the factors causing the occurrence of illegal parking and how the implications to solve the problem of illegal parking. Unavailability of facilities and lack of official parking officers became one of the causes of illegal parking, some parking spaces controlled by some people and not included in the official management became an obstacle for the government in achieving the realization of PAD, especially in the parking area so that each year the target in the realization of PAD is not Ever reaching targets, inadequate facilities are also the cause of the occurrence of illegal parking so many private vehicle owners are increasingly not offset by parking facilities. The population used in this study is all vehicle owners who parked on MT road. Haryono Semarang. The sample in this research are 100 respondents and the technique used is non-probability sampling technique with purposive sampling. Questions are given using a questionnaire consisting of closed questions and open questions. Respondents' answers to closed questions and open questions. Respondent's answer to the closed question about the variables studied in this study was then analyzed through SPSS version 16 in obtaining multiple regression equation of research model Y = 1,139 + 0,416X1 + 0,229 X2 + 0,280 X3 + μ and result of f test or simultan 91,626> 2,70 And the results of this study simultaneously have good value.
