Abstract
PT. Pelni is a state-owned company in Indonesia which is engaged in shipping services open branches throughout Indonesia one branch in the city, which has prepared the various fleets consisting of passenger ships and Ro-ro with the route or routes that have been specified, the route used is fixed routes at the Indonesian people are ready to serve their needs. The writing is performed to obtain an overview of the transport of passengers performed by PT.PELNI The new branch, which starts from the transportation of passengers before boarding the ship upwards to a passenger fell from the boat. For the method of data collection is done through interviews, observation methods, methods and documentation. So that the obtained results the best service to the passengers aboard PT.PELNI, facilities provided to passengers in order that the implementation of the activities run smoothly, and allows prospective passengers were on board to passengers descend from the ship. When the passage of the embarkation and debarkation of passengers, PT.PELNI always cooperate with relevant parties in the port of embarkation and debarkation in order to run smoothly, safely, and quickly.
