Abstract
The main discussion on this thesis is explain about discharging and loading process of container on MV.Kota Rancak by PT.Jangkar Pacific Semarang, PT.Jangkar Pacific Semarang is one of indonesian shipping agency which has branch in semarang the place of office in Mataram Palaza Complex E at Letnan Jendral MT.Haryono Street no.12-12-A Semarang, Central Java . PT.Jangkar Pacific Semarang has a part as carrier for exporter and importer in export import process,Discharging and loading process on vessel MV.Kota Rancak the number of voyage 9001 E/W , the time of arrival the vessel at february 7th 2017 at 23:50 and the vessel ready to make the discharging and loading process at 02:30 and about discharged 433 boxes (709 teus) 94 boxes is empty container , 231 boxes is 40’ and 107 boxes of 20’ and 1 over weight container. about loading process is 267 boxes (378 teus) . 100 boxes is empty container , 111 boxes is 40' and 56 boxes is 40' .. On vessel MV.Kota Rancak the time of berthing 12 hours, working time 03:00 hours and break time 1:30 hours , waiting time 1:28 hours rate work and crane ( 5 cranes 6 & 7 ).
