Abstract
The purpose of writing this paper is to explain the Harbour Master of Class II TanjungBalaiKarimunIn Maritime Safety Task Harbour Master and how to Improve the Safety and Shipping. Monitoring operational implementation of sea transport is very important. In the care of the duties in addition to improving the safety of shipping Harbour Master also issued a port Clearence (SPB) that the proposed by the shipping agent before the ship left or will leave the port area, actions in doing it is to improve oversight of security and to the things that associated with shipping. In undergoing Harbour Master of class II TanjungBalaiKarimun there are several obstacles such as delays in shipping agent in applying for ship navigation, the application for port Clearance (SPB), the document is not complete and Certificates ship ships expired. Then the agent must take care of the dokuments and pay a fine in order to get permission to sail boats from the Harbour Master.
