Abstract

PT. Pelindo III (Persero) Terminal Petikemas Semarang (TPKS) is a State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) which is engaged in the port services activities. Procedures have been established to service the dismantling, loading and stacking containers. Procedure service at PT. Pelindo III (Persero) Terminal Petikemas Semarang (TPKS) begins when the container has been entered in at the gate stacks in the yard waiting for the ship to arrive for unloading and vice versa, containers unloaded from the hold of the ship. For data used are primary data and secondary data. The primary data is done with the interview directly to the parties associated in Terminal Petikemas Semarang (TPKS) while secondary data obtained from books, records, reports, or records which are usually obtained from the media. The results of this Essay is a Semarang Container Terminal Company loading / unloading of containers handled all the activities while in Semarang Container Terminal. Therefore Terminal Petikemas Semarang (TPKS) show professionalism as well as the company’s ability to increase service to service users (stakeholders). The problem is the key to success is the trust and satisfaction of the service users. Keywords: Container, Unloading and loading
