Abstract
PT. Pelindo II Tanjung Pandan branch addressed on Jl. Port No.01 Tanjung Pandan Belitung which is one of the state-owned companies engaged in the port business and the establishment of Pelabuhan Indonesia II Branch Tanjung Pandan that started in 1976 named BPP (Port of Port Enterprise) headed by a port chief. At that time the Port of Seaport is still united with the Port Administrator (ADPEL) which stood under the auspices of Palembang. In 1983 the Port Development Agency was Experienced by Change and established itself as a branch of Perum Pelabuhan II Tanjung Pandan and no longer dependent on the Port Administrator (ADPEL). Perum Pelabuhan II was changed on December 1, 1992 to Limited Liability Company of Pelabuhan Indonesia II Tanjung Pandan branch and returned to Palembang area for two years. Since March 6, 2002 in accordance with the decree (SK) of the Board of Directors of Limited Liability Company Pelabuhan Indonesia II No. 56/1/9/9 / PI.II-02 regarding the change of port position back to branch and become full branch and directly responsible to the headquarters of limited liability company Pelabuhan Indonesia II in Jakarta led by General Manager of Tanjung Pandan branch. PT. Pelindo II Branch Tanjung Pandan is a state-owned company that aims to develop national shipping business. PT. Pelindo II Tanjung Pandan Branch was established since 1976. PT. Pelindo II Branch Tanjung Pandan is a company engaged in the field of Ship Services. As the servant is obliged to do what the ship needs and do the activity as it should. Problems faced by PT. Pelindo II Branch Tnjung Pandan currently is less than the maximum in serving the ship in the process of guidance and dock, which resulted in delayed ship dock. Permasahannya whether the ship service procedures in PT. Pelindo II of Tanjung Pandan Branch is in compliance with SOP (Standard Operation Procedure)? Writing this final report aims to know the process of Ship Services in PT. Pelindo II of Tanjung Pandan Branch and as a thought contribution to PT. Pelindo II Tanjung Pandan branch to take appropriate steps in ship service process in accordance with Standard Operating Procedure. Suggestions that author can give to the power of PT. Pelindo II of Tanjung Pandan Branch is to be able to provide training to employees regarding good and proper service procedures.
