Abstract
The company is a company incorporated as a legal entity engaged in loading and unloading of goods from and or to the ship including the unloading of goods from the hold of the vessel to the dock on the hull or stevedoring, the transfer of goods from the dock on the hull of the ship to the warehouse / cultivation field or vice versa (cargodoring) and the activity of taking goods from the warehouse / field on take it up truck or vice (receiving / delivery). Sources of data is important in the research because it can be said as initial capital before doing research, as for types and sources of data used for research, the type of research is divided into two, namely quantitative and qualitative research, for data sources also divided into two data sources primary and secondary. Methods of data collection is an important factor for the success of the study, while the three techniques of data collection commonly used are questionnaires, observations, and interviews. In the procedure of dismantling Steel Slab, PT. Multi Sentana Baja always takes into consideration the time of disassembly, protecting the cargo, and protecting the vessel. In the implementation of the dismantling of documents in need of outurn report, packing list, tally sheet, time sheet, dialy working report, stowage plan, bill of lading, and statement of fact. The constraints are often faced in the process of dismantling the delay of transportation / vehicles and bad weather. Key words : unloading, Loading contstraints.
