Abstract

Study Process of MT Gas Patra 3 Crew Recruitmentby PT. Peteka Karya Gapura (Pertamina Trans Kontinental Group) Jakarta This land practice is aimed at knowing the state of Human Resource Recruitment (HR), which is the initial process in a company's efforts to realize its objectives. The choice of labour is very important for the operation of ships of sea transport companies in accordance with company requirements. PT. Peteka Karya Gapura (Pertamina Trans Kontinental Group) North Jakarta, is a Subsidiary of PT. Pertamina Trans Kontinental (formerly PT. Pertamina Tongkang), to provide a reliable crew ship/ ship workforce according to the needs of the Owners / Users in this case the ships owned by PT. Pertamina Trans Kontinental. PT. Peteka Karya Gapura has a prescribed procedure for the crew recruitment process from the CV review heartburn to the offshore crew mutation. The method that used by the author in solving the problem is qualitative research method that more emphasis the meaning with the technique of collecting data stimulation (composite) of serveral method. From the research during the authors do land practice can be concluded company PT. Peteka Karya Gapura has been well in the process of recruitment of crew members. Although every company has set Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), in recruitment crew ship PT. Peteka Karya Gapura still appears the obstacles - both external and internal barriers that must be minimized in order to efficient manpower managed. The existence of information management and data filtering to prospective crew of the ship proved able to reduce the impact in ship recruitment crew. I achieved the efficiency and effectiveness of the workforce in the company's operational activities to achieve its goals.
