Abstract
Agency business activities within a company become one of the most important and very necessary business forms if the shipper does not have a branch office in a port to be visited by his ship. various shipping companies in Indonesia provide ship service agency services that will carry out activities at the port including PT.Pelayaran Bahtera Adhiguna, in this case PT.Pelayaran Bahtera Adhiguna provides various activities in agency such as ship needs, crew needs of ships and also there is a form of activity or the procedures that must be obeyed if the commercial ships will enter the port. it is commonly called the clearance in and clearance out activities, thus clearance in and clearance out activities into one form of corporate activity PT.Pelayaran Bahtera Adhiguna in serving commercial ships. the purpose of such a rule is to control the marine transport activities in order to prevent harm to all parties, nor to control the security, safety and convenience of the users of the shipping services. in which case the government through the port authority authority shall carry out inspection of documents and physically aboard, to know a ship worthy of the sea and whether or not, with this clearance in and clearance out activities is essential to ensure the safety, safety and convenience of the shipping service users, so that no party will be harmed.
