Abstract
Subject discussion in this writing is about the import activities and the process of service imports on shipping company PT Indonesia SITC branches Semarang. There is some background issues that must be resolved by the author is a document what is required to facilitate the process of service imports in shipping companies, transport documents issued by the shipping company, the objective of this writing is to know the documents required at the time of import handling in shipping companies. Based on data collection was done during the practice of the land (prada) the authors use some methods namely, observation, interview and documentation. The result of the discussion of this paper is to know the documents required at the time of the process of handling import, know transport documents issued by the shipping company and know the activities and services imports in shipping companies.
