Abstract
PT. Putra Segara Abadi is a shipping company engaged in ship agency and unload cargo of logs and coal. PT. Putra Segara Abadi branch responsible for providing operational service. Operational system and service process start from the ship berthing, the process of unloading cargo from the ship to leavest port. Information thecnology is needed for ship activities and the goods can be serve quickly, accurately, and easily. Based on the background being addressed, while the discuccion as follows : documents required by the shipping agents, procedures and tasks to the agents for clearance in and clearance out, institutions involved in the clearance process, barriers and how to overcome obstacles. The system service procedures in PT. Putra Segara Abadi start when the ship arrive in destination port , and submitted clearance in to KSOP and Pelindo for the determine berth place and permit for scouting service to Pelindo .
