Abstract
Agent is a shipping company appointed by other shipping company in Indonesia or foreign abroad (as principal) to take care of everything related to the interests of the vessel principal. PT. Bahari Sandi Pratama (BSP) is a ship agency service company with experience in handling domestic and international ships, offshore and chartering vessels. The company is know for its high realibility in handling vessels with the best service.The company also provides ship agency services, ship chartering and logistics. This method uses the type of observation data interview, observation, survey and document analysis. And the collection of data sources are taken from primary and secondary data so that the results of research refers to the theory and research in the field. Results of research in the field is analyzing the ship service process begins when the ship arrives at the harbor and then performs the clearance procedure that is submitted to syahbandar and pelindo for the determination of the boat and services from the pelindo. The last service is clearance in and clearance out which is proposed to syahbandar for departure of ship. Vessel services in the form of document management, related institutions and barriers that occur including timely, lack of coordination in the process of dismantling.
