Abstract
This paper is based on the needs and developments of technology in Indonesia. In this case PT. Bintang Samudra Utama Merak-Banten branch to meet the needs of the population by improving the quality of its ship agency services. This paper uses qualitative research methods that are ready to get the results of data through direct sources with instruments from the researchers themselves. Interview Analysis, Observation, Document and Library Studies. From this method can help the writing of this paper with lancer and good. The result of this paper is an optimization of agency services to the arrival and destination of the ship by PT. Bintang Samudra Utama Merak-Banten branch is less than the maximum in preparation of the required documents. This is due to the filing of documents by the company is not placed by the place, causing the possibility of the name of the document tucked.
